Although not as popular as golf and pickleball in The Villages, there are plenty of opportunities to play tennis, with over 100 courts at 35 Recreation Centers and Areas. Many of the locations have installed tennis backboards for practicing, and some have tennis ball machines that can be checked out. Some courts ahve added lines for Masters Tennis (shorter 60 foot vs 78 foot court). See the Recreation Center and Areas list below for tennis court locations and amenities at each site.

Three of the Country Clubs also have tennis courts - Glenview Championships Tennis Club, Nancy Lopez Legacy Champions Tennis Courts, and Hacienda Hills Country Club. Glenview is an award winning facility, with 6 hydro-grid clay courts, lockers, showers, swimming pools and spa. The Glenview Country Club also has a Tennis Shop for purchasing womens and mens tennis wear, court shoes, tennis rackets and bags, stringing and repair, etc. Country Club tennis locations also offer instructions and clinics.
